Yeah.
You heard right.
I'm heading one of my biggest projects, a homebrew anime miniseries. It won't, of course, get aired or anything, but I've always wanted to do an anime show.
It's called City Nocturne, the concept was generously supplied by Reiner Dyke, (Thank you very much!) and production should start soon. The opening theme and title have already been done, and we're starting on the opening animation soon.
The art is being done by me (Josiah Tobin) and Amanda Anderson.
Just thought I'd let you guys know, in case you cared.
EDIT: And YES, I know how to animate by hand. Just so you people don't think I'm just jumping right into this.

Tablets don't cost t3h that much $$, less than 200, that's for sure...
Surely you have $200,-... right?

I've seen some for $80, but they were Airtech (or something along that likeness) and not Wacom.

Woohoo! I'm getting my Wacom Intuos2 9x12 TOMORROW!! (that's official too, I have the tracking number)

I'm thinking about getting a job at subway soon... I talked to some of the employees, seemed like a decent job. Plus, you get free lunches...

Okay, I've got all these character designs for the Main Character, Jareth tacked up all over my walls... I think they look alright, I'll scan em in soon. In the mean time, I made a pic of his face in Chara maker (with some photoshopping).

Note the crappyness. I think I draw much better anime with a pencil.

Creating your own anime is pretty darn cool. I wish my not-so-1337 drawing skills would allow me to do the same...
