I'm thinking about getting a GameBoy Advance SP. The problem is, I'm pretty low on cash. I only have 1200 SEK (~130€, ~155 USD, ~90Ł), and I have about zero chance of earning any more in the forseeable future.
Is there anywhere I could get a GBA SP this cheap (preferrably with shipping included)? _________________ http://www.weeaboo.se

I don't know what shipping to Sweden from America is like (or, conversely, if this place has a Sweden warehouse from whence to ship), but EB has them for 99 US, which is the going price over here. _________________ "...LeoDraco is a pompus git..." -- Mandrake

If i was going to buy a handheld id be thinking GP32, they cost more tho and more shipping too. And in your fininancal situation id be wanting the one where you can just download emulated games onto it from your PC. :P
But im not financally endowed enough to get one in the first place. So i just cry myself to sleep.

I have one of those. If you do end up getting one, don't make the same mistake as I did... get at least a 128Mb flash cart. ;) _________________ RPG-Dev.net

I was wondering how you planned to play anythign on it.
Now it seems quite a viable idea. _________________ https://numbatlogic.com

Oh, and I don't mind waiting...heck, I waited 1˝ month for Amazon.com to send my DOTRSOTB book, so I'm used to it. _________________ http://www.weeaboo.se

It really depends on what you use it for. If you use it for development then I wouldn't worry about the 512 or 1024Mbit cart size... I would stick with the 128 or 256Mbit. However, if you intend to use it for less-then-honourable stuff *wink wink* then I would recommend the bigger sizes for obvious reasons.
Of course this is really just my personal preference heheh. _________________ RPG-Dev.net

Yeah, I'm not quite sure what to do. If I should get a GBA now, or save the money to get a tablet later. That's why I wanted to know if the first alternative was at all possible. _________________ http://www.weeaboo.se

Man, you can download emulators for those kind of things... that's something that can't be done for tablets.

Veeeery important...(not) _________________ http://www.weeaboo.se

Yeah, I downloaded and compiled VisualBoyAdvance and tried Super Mario Advance 4 and Wolfenstein 3D. It made me think it's really not that interesting and if you are going to emulate anyway, you'd rather want ZSNES plus any of the thousands of SNES games available (because they look exactly the same). You won't be able to carry an emulator around though, which I think would be the main reason to buy a real one.
