it has what i believe is a new system that i call the thread system! : )
Hope you like. Tell me what happens w it please... thank you! ill be coming here more often this place seems cool ;)

EDIT: by the way unzip it into the C: directory, unless you wanna go in and change the path.

No, old comps dont have built in handlers.
I'm saying the problem usually didn't come up on older comps for me.

Why can't people learn to post binaries for at least one common OS?

Well actually addressing the issues brought up could be one way to start. I can't test it simply because I don't have QB and I have no intention of downloading it just to try your project post a binary and I will gladly test it.

This is getting confusing would you care to elaborate on your "thread" system then?

Don't worry Cha0s, we're not evil people here--
Just some people could use the compiled version.
Anyhow, I'm not sure what his thread system is about, actually, but it seems to be a pretty efficient way of doing things, as this demo ran fine on a 386-25mhz machine, whereas mysterious song was barely playable.
Anyhow, Xmark, Key was being coded in allegro, then the coder dissapeared, then reapeared... And now he's explained and says he'll be available shortly, so Key will most likely go back to C++, and I'll hand over an older project to Cha0s to do with this engine.
Everyone's happy.
=)

EDIT: Xmark, your avatar goes perfectly with your post.
It's like "Whoa, whoa, WHOA! Wasn't key being done in allegro?"
;)

Two projects.
;)
That's not too many, is it?
......Is it...?
But I do plan on finishing both of them.
Well... I guess you could say three if you count the old one I'm handing over to Cha0s- But all I'd do there is give him the script, sit back, and twidle my fingers in an evil manner while he does the work.
...Ueeehehe.
But finishing Worlds Beyond and Key are my two main life goals. Seriously, no joke. Key's plot has progressed to the point where even I'm proud of it, and I have a VERY low opinion of myself.

Hey, I was involved in Dark Triforce.
Actually, I think I was the one who thought it up way back when, when I thought It would be cool to make a fan game...
Huh.
Anyway, I'm not really involved anymore... But I think razor is. And if he gets interest again, I suppose I'll go back to my position as gfx artist/musician/script writer... Which isn't really doing much as almost all the graphics/music/sound are done, and writing the script won't take long, as the majority of the game is dungeons, which I've already planned out on paper ages ago. So, yeah, it's not really a current project.
