Does anyone know if it's possible to make the computer think that Windows 98 is running on a Windows 2000 computer? I need to know because the Free version of Pro Tools only runs on Windows 98 or ME and my computer is running Windows 2000. That's the ONLY thing that I want it for.

Using dosbox for these old classic QBRPGS is a pain.
Mysterious Song runs about as fast as it would on a 386-25.

You could use Bochs, a free x86 emulator, and install Win98 on a disk image. Requires some tweaking and quite a computer to get running at a decent speed, though.
