Yeah...
For those of you who care (or even know what Worlds Beyond is, heh), the first playable demo is out...
Gah. Wish we could have spent more time on this... But for some reason, the coder (TheRabidWombat) wanted to get it out by last saturday... ... ...
Anyway.
Because of the rushed release, it's got quite a few bugs, and typos (Arg! Wombat, why can't you copy and paste from the script? =P). There's a big bug in the last "cutscene" (automated sequence)... Yeah... Umm... He walks backwards. We know. o.o
And I have no idea whatsoever why on earth those "I"s keep popping up in the middle of words...
Well, no music so far, but we have a couple sounds... And the battle engine is working.
Oh, and on some computers, going up on to the next map from your starting map will cause an error, ignore it and it should be fine... except it makes everything really tiny for that screen... Huh.
Anyway... This shouldn't really be any indication of it's quality in the future, so...

OK, I tried it out and there are a few extremely annoying issues:
* Text is accompanied by the most annoying sound ever.
* Conversation is fux0red for most NPCs - I hear the annoying sound, but see no text.
* When I entered a building, I ended up outside another building in town - WTF? o_O

Apart from those major annoyances, I also thought the walking speed was too low, but that might be because I've been playing DA2 lately - the game where you can run pretty close to the speed of light.
