Vulnerabilities were getting more and more dated, so it was about time I started putting their patches in. 2.0.10 is current and latest now, should be safe for a while. :-)

There are only security updates from 2.0.8a, our previous version.

The board seems to think that topics I already read still makes good news, eg. they're highlighted and linked to at the front forum page. Any idea why?

Hmm, no idea and you're the first to report problem of this kind. Generally the forum will highlight any place that contains new posts since you last visited it.

You should be able to get rid of all highlights by clicking "Mark all forums read" at the forums index page.

Bjorn. The board is painfully slow again. I'm on a cpu with a 8meg broadband right now and it takes ages to load one single page. I think that something is really wrong.

It is really a pain to enter a forum. 50-60 seconds to load a page. But to post a reply goes instantly.

Alright, seems like I still have some work to do. While you can try marking everything as read (and if you can, tell me if you notice any difference), in the longer run (think days, maybe week or so) I'll have to make some changes to the code to prevent this. Thanks for letting me know, anyway.

One thing, I noticed it is also still creating "read" entries for anonymous users, while this doesn't make any sense. I've deleted all those, which might have improved performance somewhat too.

Sorry no, just been sitting on my ass slacking this week. :-P

Seriously, all I did was deleting the entries for anonymous users as I noted previously, as I am pretty busy lately. It really does still seem like a weird issue if it is solving itself somehow, but I at least plan to work on the system not making new anonymous entries as they don't make any sense.
