She died four days ago and she became 15 years old.
I have knowed her for 2/3 of my life. I really hope that there is a next place, for animals at least.

I feel with you.

I've had cats for all my life. My first cat died of old age with 18 years. That was a very painful loss, but somehow ok, 18 is a good age for a cat.

My second cat died from a liver tumor after 12 years. This was very sad, because the doctor tried a lot to help him, but couldn't.

Then I had two cats, one was killed by a car at an age of one, and her sister was killed by another car one year later.

Then I got a tomcat from the local pet shelter. Last autumn he got sick. He died summer this year; it was a brain tumor. The doctors couldn't help. He just was 6 years old.

Every time I've lost a cat the pain nearly drove me mad. Currently I don't even want to have another cat because I don't want to lose it again.

But without a cat I'm not really happy either. The last months have been a very sad and lonely time for me :(

Sorry dude...
I've never had a cat (recently found out I'm allergic to their hair), but I can imagine what it would be like to lose a loved pet, as I have a dog and I would be extremely sad to see her go.

I can definately understand your pain.
I had 40 cats. No joke. And, yes, at one time.
I lost them all. :(
How did they die? Between the fucking racoon eating kittens, a few that ran away because my cousin left the door open, the 8 that died for unknown reasons, and my stupid ass neighbor who ran over _4_ of them, not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 of my precious cats.
Not even saying he was sorry. just came over and tossed the dead cats onto my porch, rang the bell, and then blamed _me_ for not keeping them off his property. >_< Took all I had not to fucking kill the bastard.
I most likely will never get another though, since my girlfriend is allergic. :(

I'm sorry to hear that you lost your pet.
I know how it feels, it can really take it out of you.

Yeah... it was a while since my precious friend died now but it still pains me. But you, you must have been through hell! I would have punched that idiot to an bloody pulp!
