I'm thinking right now it would be more productive to concentrate your efforts entirely on getting RPGDX running full speed. Granted, being a niche site doesn't make it easy to get new material rolling in, but we seem to be doing well so far, no?

I like the email idea. But then the Mag shouldn't include the articles themselves but rather short descriptions about their contents and a reference to the article on RPGDX. And indeed some news and development stories could be included in the Mag, but nothing too long. And I imagine that an email-mag should be plain text and not HTML? I have no problem with HTML, but Linux users might.

About the article database, this is a good idea. I had been thinking about storing the articles in a database too, but not for Mag purposes. When we would store the articles in the RPGDX database, we could show them on an RPGDX page and in a certain style and we would have full control over its contents (though ownership remains at auther of course). A bit like Gamasutra.

yeah that could work really, well, kind of like a mixed integration, where this will make it certian there are articles/tuts up at least once a month, it can also focus on some things building a good integration between the two sites. Instead of making the mag seperate, the mag then is a part of RPGDX...literally. that works for me.
