Depressed by the lack of people posting on my site's forum, I just brainstormed a potentially cool, wacky idea that could be accomplished by making a few minor changes to the phpBB database, and some PHP work.

Along with a post count, each user would also have a certain amount of "Abstract Cash". For each post, they get 10 bucks of Abstract Cash.

Now, that by itself is kinda boring, because it's just an extension of a regular post count. But this will be sort of a game of investing. Because each registered forum member will be for sale to the other forum members, at a price based on their percentage of total forum posts. Also, when you "own" a member, you get 5 bucks for every time THEY post as well. And if their percentage of total forum posts increases over time, then you can sell them to someone else, making a return on your original investment. Alternatively, it could work on a bidding system.
