Just wondering what's up. Haven't seen you around in awhile. I was talking to Locrian yestarday (I guess he no longer does the game design or pixel art thing anymore), and was just realised I hadn't seen you around in awhile.

- I kinda forgot to keep this forum in my circuit. I'm getting bits and pieces done to things.

- Any word on when you are going to need more character portraits?

Neato. I haven't heard from Tenshi since the Gamedev board at Swoo.net closed. :D

Have you finished Tenshi Densetsu yet?

- Gotten far, but finished, no.

- Next phase is creating the Map editor so that I can actually use maps. I have created all of the engines, though. So .. coding wise there's not much left (full scripting engine, so to speak, Battle, Map, Menu...).

- Problem's graphics. I'm slow. :|

AHA! You are Dunric.

Anyway, heh, Tenshi- got any new screenies? Are you still doing it in OpenGL and C++?

Changeling portraits- I could use ones for Gull, Zysbet and if you have the one you did of Nixie still (I lost that when my hard drive crashed....) I could use that one as well. Probably by December 10th.

Other than that-> you on MSNIM at all?

Tenshi, I cannot get your links on your homepage to work. I tried to read your manga but it didn't work.

- It's a placeholder. I probably will not be getting to manga until the Summertime, depending on *finalized* character designs I get finished. I created a manga once before, but changed a character's design halfway through it, and it really screwed continuity. I may post it for giggles, though.
- Other than that, every link should work....

- Yes, still in OGL and C++.

- Assimilation. Notice the yellow sphere on the left above the character... that ties in with the change in the Combat Menu which is now a ovular grid. When you select an option, the option sphere (which , when finished, will have a little symbol on it to indicate what skill it is, and won't just be a colored sphere) will float up from the grid to that position. If you cancel, it floats back down. OOP is teh sh*t. :)

- The battle grid. I decided that I wanted to move UD away from an FF-3 clone look, so the menus have been altered a bit.

- Map system. Pixel x pixel scrolling works. It had quirks in some directions, but it's fine now. It's still in debugging mode and missing a couple of displays (including the minimap) but that's what I settled on for sizes.

- I occupied my time the past couple weeks with getting my Database started (Federation Crystal Universe) so that's why the game hasn't advanced much (along with schoolwork). But since I have the PHP XML reader for my database working, I'm about to pick up on it again.

- No problem. I can get to those very soon. Glad to see you'll be picking back up on that. :)

- As for MSNIM I use AIM and mIRC, both of which I am on almost 24/7 (24/6 is usually about right). Every now and then I turn my computer off if I'll be out for several hours. I don't use MSNIM because ... I'm lazy and it'd be another window to watch. If you really need me to get it I guess I can.

You know DevX has a really nice map editor in production. He can help.

- I'll have to check with him. It could save me a lot of time, perhaps.

I think Tiled is a bit more polished, just because it has a public, stable release people have been using, as well as a nice, XML based file format (that I'm slowly implementing into Gia myself...part of the reason for XML lib being added to it).

How's Angel Board?

- Angel-Board is currently "stable". It still has its little quirks in some areas. I'm going to make a completely OO version of it next that will solidify and unify everything, but I want to get a demo out on Unmei Densetsu first, if I can.

- And DeveloperX, I've BuddyListed you so hopefully I'll catch you on tonight. I'll try to take a look at your tool before then . I think I'll be needing something a bit custom, though. But I'll have to see first. :)
