It seemed some server side script has been trying to upgrade these forums to 2.0.11, but failing to do so both because it had problems with this phpBB board not being a default install (so patches failed) and it ruined file ownership somehow.

The problem should be fixed now and I've manually done a proper upgrade to 2.0.11. I'll email our host about the problem. Tell me if you notice any problems still.

Ok, nice. I've also just enabled visual confirmation on registration, something that is built into phpBB as of 2.0.11. Seems to work fine too.

I was having some trouble a few minutes ago but now its fine.

I'd like to take a moment to comment on the recent trend of rpgdx'ers using real photos as avatars:

Bjørn - you look like a crazed madman.
Mandrake - you look distracted.
BiggerUniverse - you have the appearance of a child preparing to play in the snow.

Furthermore, you're all in need of a shave. Scruffy bastards.

Works for me! In this picture I look the least like an idiot(sad). I think Bjørn fits his name now, and Mandrake sorta reminds me of a player in a Shakespearean company for some reason; and Hajo is a kitten who turned into a mini-man! (no offense, Hajo)

I think we should pour water onto Hajo and see if he grows, like one of those toy dinosaurs. Anyway, I think BiggerUniverse and Bjorn both look like the kind of people I hang out with around the states. Goofie bearded guys with a fun sense of humor.

I once had a beard like Bjorn's, but it looked weird. The goatee works best for me.

I like the change in avatars that happened lately. (Björn, Mandrake, BiggerUniverse)

My cat died last summer, that's why I changed my avatar. The memories caused to much pain :(

I'm not sure if I want a bigger avatar. It was a big step for me to use a photo of myself, formerly I hid behind some artificial image all the time.

If my avatar looks crazy you haven't seen anything yet...

Anyway, it's weird to have people say they were having problems a few minutes ago but that now they're gone. The problem should have been fixed when I started this thread, anything going wrong after that is worrying.

It was dead for a few hours after you first fixed it, but it was gone when I checked the forums later.

Don't forget janus' new ava. Looks like a still from a movie. ;) Anyway this is what comes up when I searched for a username:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: phpbb_clean_username() in /home/indie-rp/public_html/forums/includes/functions_search.php on line 474

I'm a very warm person really. I don't even wear a pocket knife and will hug people on request. ;-)
