Well, that wasn't exactly what happened. That happened after I was banned and came on the board using my home IP (he banned my work IP).
When I found out why I couldn't access the board (ie, I was banned), I threw a snit fit and said I was never coming back. But, in a week (when the ban was over), I was back. That damned board was like herion.

I don't think you can really blame the moderators for that... after all, it was moderated more thoroughly there than it is here! I can remember people being being banned all the time - in fact, I think Dunric was banned permanently near the end.

Sure the moderation is slack here, but when it's necassary, it acts.

I don't see much a problem with the way this board is moderated. For the most part, people are allowed to work out their differences without MOMerator stepping in all the time. There have been a couple fairly recently (the exploreRPG threads) that got locked, but other than that, I haven't seen many that needed it.
