I have at least 30 unfinished game projects in my closet.

I got that from my Threads of Life project. The gameplay is so terrible due to the engine's limitations, it's barely playable. That and the fact that it's in DOS, so it doesn't even run correctly on this computer.
I'd like to modify the Shifter engine to work with ToL's game mechanics, but then I'd likely have to throw out all the content that was made for the old engine and start over.
And the story ties into other projects of mine, so I can't just totally give up on it. But making the game playable would take so much more work...ugh.

Actually, it was a plug for the compo we're talking about starting up in another thread. But Sacraments *was* a compo entry, and having to de-scope to get it done in the time limit really did help me solve the never-finish problem. _________________ Visit the Sacraments web site to play the game and read articles about its development.

I totally agree. Finishing Blorp Zingwag: Elf Detective totally inspired me to get shit done in The ARC Legacy. Of course, it helped that it was the same engine in development, so it was an efficient use of time. _________________ Mark Hall
