Heh...all joking aside, the above program is the result of an assignment from my computer graphics class...My "Minotaur" here was created purely with opengl primitive functions (with a few from the GLUT library), no fancy-schmancy modeling tools - no sir...

Enjoy...

P.S. Do yourselves a favor and read the "README" file included in the zip...preferably before actually running the program...

I like it, and I think you deserve a high mark on your Computer Graphics assignment. :-)

I've followed Computer Graphics both in Netherlands and Ireland. Here's screenshots of the respective final assignments I did then:

The Pacman wasn't fully functional yet, and I didn't feel like finishing it afterwards, heh.

Nice...be even nicer if you could provide some binaries :). Did you compile those on a WIN32 or Unix platform? If you have any WIN32 binaries would you mind posting them, I'd like to have a look see...

Sorry I don't have Windows binaries, even though it should compile fine. Both projects are available to the public by Subversion though, here are the links:

Hehe, along with the Pacman there's also the reports that I wrote in LaTeX.

I've downloaded the source but I haven't gotten around to compiling them yet...I have this to say though, you code looks very neat and structured compared to mine. I've been known to give my professors a scare with my klunky code..Heh.

Bjørn's code is always neat and structured. I think "Bjørn" is actually several people working on a team.

Or maybe, he just have splitted personalities just like me. When one gets tired another one takes over. Very nifty :).

I got 'fractland' to compile and I really liked what I saw. It was pretty cool to be able to change the level of detail of the scene (even if it slowed my machine to a crawl :) ). Now I have to pick apart the code to see how it works (and read up on how fractals work all over again)...

Aside:
Heh.. it's kind of funny how a simple comment about clean and tight code can spawn such 'riveting' discussion ;).

Ah, well thanks about the compliments about my code, heh. Sure I do try to keep things readable and understandable, and worry about consistency to the level of irritating all but the most hardened team members. Contrary to popular belief, I am not a team. ;-)

Actually, I think I am making a rather slacking impression here as lately I've only been updating this board. Any other work on the site or the competition has crawled to a halt, because I am busy with other things without a clone that can help me with RPGDX. I really hope I will resolve this and set my priorities straight in time for the competition.
