Okay guys I'm about to do something that I never thought I would have to do.
I am in serious need of some cash, fast. I'm in about the worst financial bind as I've ever been.
Rent, Utilities, Phone all past due. My clients haven't been responding to any calls, nor have I had any new clients in months.
I am begging out of pure desperation, if there is anyone out there who could spare ANY amount, be it 50 cents, a dollar, anything.
Please, please please have pity on me, I wouldn't ask if it wasn't an extreme emergency. I've just recieved a notice from my landlord, about how my rent was due on the 1st... :(
I'm at least $150 short. I've made all the calls I can. I'm turning to the community who has watched me over the past 2 years.
I've made a paypal button to make it easy.

Donate something, please. I'm desperate.

That fell through. It turned out to be a fucking pyramid scam.
I've been looking everywhere for ANY job..hell I even sunk as low as trying to get hired at a fast food joint.
Its like noone is hiring anywhere.
I've put out no less than 50 applications in the past 2 days,
and at least 350 flyers for my business.
I can't believe how dry this month become. Who would have thought. :(
One good note is that I got a little work today from a client, its not much, but at least I know God is still paying attention.
I made $190 today. That $40 more than I THOUGHT I needed...
Turns out I have to come up with $600 before the 30th...
I'm late for a month's rent in addition to the rent being due...
I didn't know that until tonight. :(
I'm still praying, and I'll be hitting the street tomorrow looking for work, any odd jobs anywhere...even if its taking out the trash for old people....I'm desperate here.
I can't afford to lose my house, if I do, I'll be on the street..literally, since my car isn't even usable yet.
I've been trying to get on at compusa again since the old gm got fired, but they haven't been making much effort to get me on the payroll..continuously giving me the whole "I need to get approval from corporate" excuses..
I've also tried Blockbuster..they said they weren't hiring.
I'm running out of options fast.
...
and frankly I guess I'm not surprised that you haven't taken me seriously. :( ...story of my life...
I do not lie. I've never told people lies to get something that I wanted, ever.
The only lie I've ever told was telling my girlfriends parents that we were at the movies when we were really at my house alone years ago..but anyway, thats much different.
People never take me seriously, I think its cause of too much hype on my projects, but I can't help the fact that I'm only one man trying to do the jobs of at least 20, and with other social events getting in the way, I don't get enough time to complete the projects that I work so hard to create. :\
I know that if I had at least 2 more programmers that I could rely on to help me with my projects, I could complete at least 3 of every 5 that I design. I cannot possibly do everything, even though I try.
I code, I design, I draw, I debug, I model, I write, I edit, etc..
and above all, I try to manage the projects, and the people that I do get to help at times.
Its not an easy task, and I get tired out.
I have a release date of Nov 1st for my very first RPG,
it is for the TurbografX 16 platform, and heavily inspired by Final Fantasy Adventure for GameBoy.
Its 4 color greyscale with 16x16pixel tile res, professional cd-audio tracks, and about 5 seperate environments spanned over at least 90 maps (I think the official count is 88 maps drawn to date) There will be anime cutscenes with audio rendered in 128x64 in 4 color greyscale.
The game is progressing, slowly, but its taking shape.
I've been spending alot of nightly hours managing Nekrophidius' team, Frozen Utopia ~ being the Team Coordinator & Lead Tile Artist.
Speaking of time..I'm out of it for tonight.
Thanks for reading this, and I hope you will donate at least $0.50 ..I really could use any help I can get. :\ _________________ Principal Software Architect

Well there you go. And how much are you getting paid for all of this again? :?
I mean, with Worldyne, you're getting half of what we eventually make, that's already settled. But a lot of the rest of this seems like pet project stuff. And that's OK, if you don't have other priorities.
Plus, I'm hardly burdening you with Worldyne, so....
