Sorta. Programmed drums, real guitar.

Borrowing a Marshall amp from a friend, so I figured I'd record something. No solos because I can't play lead for the life of me. :p I know the playing is somewhat sloppy, but hey, there's no slip-ups and frankly I'm just glad I was able to get through two takes of it in the first place.

Used a Marshall MG15-CDR amp with an ESP LTD MH-50nt guitar. No effects pedals or anything, as I can't really afford anything more at the moment. Only minimal production on the song.
(fully expecting Ninkazu to bust in and say "this is a disgrace to all real metal" :p)

EDIT: New link... The old one doesn't work for the vast majority of people. http://fileanchor.com/21670-d

Me likey. Makes me wish we could import songs into Guitar Hero. I particularly like the slow bit in the middle getting nice and heavy, and then busting back into a good thrash at the end.

Couple new songs... The second track is the song I originally posted (the original's been taken down to save space on my account), but replayed and with some changes near the end.

01 - Lifeless (Intro)
02 - Whale
03 - Double Barrelled

EDIT: New song, much calmer than the rest.
04 - "Understanding"

Wow, that stuff's pretty good. Needs bass guitar to make it sound meatier though. I like the little rythm shifts you put into it, and the way your drums compliment your guitar riffs.

Now all it needs is the bass, a lead guitar, and some lyrics. Or possibly just some dude screaming and growling :)
