          | What was probably the biggest inventory of emulation software on the Internet died today.
So what's going to happen with emulation now that it's gone?

          | What died? What site? And is it gone, or just dead like RPG-Dev (still under construction, but it's getting there, so if you're reading this Ninkazu come on back - we all miss ya)? _________________

          | At http://www.zophar.net/, it said that the site was dead but that people still wanted it. So it's back. It may be dead as in "there will be no more updates", but the site's still there. | |

          | Oh, yeah I've been there. I think that's where I got my Shining Force: The Legacy of Great Intention ROM and KGEN emulator... or was that another site? Whatever... I know I've been there. _________________

          | ZD doesn't deal with the distribution of commercial ROMs, so you're probably thinking of a different place.
I've been to the place more than a few times over the years, and I was a little worried there for a moment when I saw this thread. Good to see the site's still up, even if the updates have dried up.

          | The updates dried up because the staffers got lazy, and I think that's why the site was shut down. Regardless, there are always other emulation sites for current events and whatnot. I would be quite sad to see this valuable piece of emulation history wiped out, so needless to say I was relieved when the site was restored. _________________
