They aren't called primitives for nothing. I'm not saying this project should be disqualified... just thinking about saying so. :)

The question is, where do you draw the line? Hard to say.

Everyone is copying Decartes and his coordinate system. I don't know why this plagiarism has been allowed to continue for nearly 500 years.

WOW I had no idea that using poser 6 for creating models and then using gimp to create custom textures would set off such a fire storm. For the next contest I'll write my own 3D modeling tool and image manipulation program. I'll have to create my own file formats because PNG, JPG, Etc.. are already created.

In all reality using poser 6 just gives me a base to work with. The goal of my engine project was to allow pepole who have ZERO 3D skills to use a tool like poser to create people for use in 3D projects. This gives them the power to make custom animations and textures while not knowing how to create a human form in a 3D program like Blender, 3D Studio Max, etc.. It's an indie engine after!

Maybe the definition of "graphics" in the rules could've been clearer, but remember that the rules are not a legal document, so we shouldn't need to take the wording so literally. I think as long as it is accepted by the creator of the contest and the general consensus to permit usage of premade models in the game, then it should be okay.
