Heh, I'm not sure how long this had been broken, but the avatar URLs on the profile page were missing the "forums/" prefix and didn't work. I fixed this little issue now, heh.

On another note, it seems traffic has been increasing lately and at the end of the month I start receiving warnings that this site has reached over 80% of the upload capacity (currently at 4GB). That's about 1 GB for rpgdx.net, 2 GB for forums.rpgdx.net and 1 GB for pixel-zone.rpgdx.net. Most other subdomains contribute only marginally. We still made it to the end fo this month though, I hope the next one will be fine too. I'll be sure to ask Aral whether he can raise the limit when it starts becoming a problem.

There's a pixel-zone.rpgdx.net?

What are all the RPGDX subdomains anyway? Is there a list anywhere? :)

http://moonlight.rpgdx.net/
http://pixel-zone.rpgdx.net/

hey cool, I've been listed as worth mentioning! :D hehehe
and...I totally forgot about dbent...DarkBllade is stuck in the military right now, so he's not going to be back for awhile :(
I've been keeping in touch as much as possible, and he still plans to work on DarkBllade Entertainment, but he's swamped with his duties at this time.

ooh pixel-zone I remember that place. A shame its not been updated in 5 years...
:)

Nice to know that traffic is increasing here at rpgdx, but only 4G limit??? Alot of hosts these days are providing tons of bandwidth for very cheap price.

Yeah I hadn't listed it cause of all the broken pages. If you want I can set you up a redirect to your googlepages site.

We get it for free so there's nothing to complain about. If it's not enough I will ask whether it can be raised, and otherwise I'll have to find some other solution. I could move pixel-zone to my own server for example. It's rather slow, but there's no bandwidth limit. :-)

Well, Platyna was kind enough to let me host pixel-zone.rpgdx.net on her server at platinum.linux.pl. This should be a nice improvement for The Pixel-Zone actually, now hosted on a 40 Mbit/sec connection with unlimited bandwidth (once DNS has propagated).

That's about 7 MB, or about 1 GB a month, moved over, allowing RPGDX a bit more space to breath. :-)

wow...I'd hate to find out what my bandwidth is....lol
I host over 3gb of files....lol......thats a scary thought......
I think I have like 1TB/month bandwidth limit or something like that...

..thats TB not GB...

Nah, uploading your avatar is the only option on this forum, since allowing people to link to external avatars too often resulted in slow or broken links. Also, the board is then unable to enforce size restrictions on the images, which has also caused some problems.

Would you like to redirect ragnarok.rpgdx.net to our googlepage Bjorn? It would be nice :)

- Yeah, that was the same reason I wrote something similar. For some reason I thought you were talking about a list of avatars people could pick from -- an avatar library. It should have clicked that that would affect uploaded ones, too. :3
