I got my new computer a couple of days ago. I dont know the spec's on it as my computer dealer swapped to processor to something more powerful and changed the graphicscard for something newer. And I got it all cheaper. Sometimes it good to have friends :). The computer seems to be quite fast, loads vista in notime and I installed Prey in a couple of minutes. Score's 5,3 on microsofts new strange test. I'm quite happy.

I second that.

I've been running Vista since the official release and I really like it overall.

There are definately some compatibility issues with certain applications such as Adobe Creative Suite 2 Web Bundle (especially Dreamweaver), and Visual Studio 2005, but all-in-all, definately worth the upgrade.

Well, I cant say that I dislike the OS really... it looks better than XP. It has a better search function. That's about all bigger differences I have noticed yet O_o. It could seem like it's a bit 'messy' compared to XP thought.

Edit: I have gotten my ADSL now. I'm a very happy camper.

Youtube overdose. Call parametics.

www.broadcast.com is better. simply start watching a 'channel' and it will automatically go to the next clip...its great. I leave it on passively on another computer, just to keep something going on when its quiet here. :)

Hm, I might reconsider everything I said about Vista. Now I get a NTLDR is missing error but I can, with some trickery get into Vista but then I get a blue screen of death. Sweet.

Edit: I solved the problem after hours of torment. It seems like windows update was the badguy.

Considering it a bit, windows update is the butler.

That sounded more like a waste of time, but I decided to click it anyway since working on my thesis is so boring. But it took me to http://www.yahoo.com/ so that can't be right, right?
