I'm gonna have to wait for a few weeks until it gets here, but I'm pretty chuffed :) It's the most I've ever invested in this little hobby of mine, not counting my laptop.

Sweet! Man, I wish I had a good keyboard. The ancient, massive, and bulky Yamaha PSR I have right now gives me little incentive to play it. :p

Wow, that's like the pimp daddy of MIDI interfaces.

Heh, it's good to hear that I've bought well.

I feel a bit guilty spending so much on this sorta thing considering that I'm not an especially good musician... [proof 1, proof 2]

I figure actually investing in it will force me to work at it and eventually get good, and it'll certainly help to have the right equipment... or at least that's how I justified it yesterday evening... Now I'm not so sure...

Well, this thing's finally arrived - but I'm having a lot of trouble getting anything out of it. After about an hour of messing about with settings and reading manuals, I finally got it to play individual notes - but I haven't a clue how to use the program that comes with it, or what any of the multitude of buttons on this thing do.

Still, from what little I've gotten out of it I can see that it's gonna be useful :) I'll try and make something with it and post it here over the weekend.
