Amanda let me take a look at Aveyond 2: Ean's Quest a few days before it is released commercially, and (naturally) gave me the go-ahead to post my first impressions

Aveyond 2: Ean's Quest First Look

While not perfect, it seems an improvement across the board from Aveyond 1, which was a pretty kick-butt game to begin with. And she's added mouse support to RPG Maker!

Alas, work has me in crunch mode, I've got my own indie game to work on, and I'm deluged with cool indie RPGs to play! I wish I could take the entire month off and just play these games!

The screenshot looks nice but small. Is there any bigger ones?

I wish I could get a month off for coding. I'll have to ask my boss. It's a big risk that I'll get a sledgehammer across the back of my head XD.

Click on the link in the blog post to see the larger image (640 x 480).

I am taking some time off in December for coding (and playing). I have a deadline (self-imposed, but needed!) of the end of December to get the Pokmor Xang temple completed for Frayed Knights - fully playable, all that jazz.

But I'm gonna keep playing these indie RPGs as much as I can. Gotta know what I'm talking about some of the time!
