Yeah, absolutely, I'll make my entry in my Pixie engine, same as I did with the C64 style text adventure :-)

As always, no need to be too strict about those type of things, as it's all about having fun anyway :D

Sounds great...a party-based ascii/text RPG compo. Who else is down with that?

Actually, I'm not sure I like the party thing - but then I'm not entering, so I guess it doesn't matter, heh.

It's just that pretty much every roguelike ever has been one adventurer versus a dungeon full of enemies - and this totally rules out that approach, which is a shame.

I agree with Terry. I think the party requirement may be a deterrent for some people with rogue-like ascii games in mind.

Well, I'm fine with losing the party requirement... :-) What does everyone else think?

Yeah, I like the idea. Besides, it wasn't supposed to start until February anyways, so it's still early.

Hm, I somehow liked the party idea. Well, maybe I'll still add it as additional, optional feature ;)

Well it doesn't mean someone couldn't make a game that uses a party system, it just means that it wouldn't be a technical requirement.
