Hey JT man, I _REALLY_ enjoyed this CD!
You did a damn good job.
Who did the breakdown edits? Was that you talking to yourself, or did you have another guy recording as well?
Overall I must say that I thought that the tracks were quite thought provoking, and inspiring.
I'd even like to know if I could snip a couple bars from a few to use as backing tracks for future game projects I've got in store.
You of course would be given full credit for it. And since I'm not likely to make any $ off said projects, I'd not be able to pay royalties. _________________ Principal Software Architect

Hey, thanks!
I did some of the dialog, the rest was done by my brother Brian. I did all the lines belonging to the "Villain" character (appearing on Fauxpas and ED7) as well as the speech in the intro and ED4... Brian did all the fake review segments in most of the tracks labeled with "ED(number)."
Sure, you can use some clips if you like, just make sure to credit Swimfail and note that you've used them with permission. A link to the myspace page wouldn't hurt, either. :)

Cool thanks!
If you have any imagery you would like to have included, just pass it on to me via PM or email. ccpsceo@gmail.com
The larger the image the better, so say 1024x768 or larger, so that when I resize it to whatever resolution needed the quality is going to be high and clear. _________________ Principal Software Architect

I finally had a chance to sit down and listen to this; took the uncompressed version since bandwidth is never an issue here. Very awesome stuff. :D _________________ If you play a Microsoft CD backwards you can hear demonic voices. The scary part is that if you play it forwards it installs Windows. - wallace

Awesome, thanks! Really glad to hear that since I don't think I've ever had the chance to show you any of my Swimfail stuff until now. :)
Oh, just a note though, in this case 'uncompressed' refers to dynamics processing as opposed to mp3 compression; the only difference is that the uncompressed version is significantly quieter (but has a greater dynamic range). They're both around the same size, hehe.

"Protector" is without question my fave on this album. "Adumbration" in second.
By the way, this page needs updating:

I can't stop listening to this album, dangit. :P And then I get some of your songs stuck in my head when I'm not listening. _________________ If you play a Microsoft CD backwards you can hear demonic voices. The scary part is that if you play it forwards it installs Windows. - wallace

Well that's a damn good sign, I'd say! :)
Protector is probably my favorite as well. Protector, Meme, and Adumbration are kind of loosely connected in my mind as some of the stronger songs I've written (I feel).
Ahh, I wish I could just get rid of that page entirely. :( I started it way back when I was using the name 'Swimfail' for this horrible, sampled mess of industrial death/thrash metal that didn't go anywhere and sounded like a dying canine, an old drum machine, and a laptop full of shitty guitar samples all being dropped from a 10th story window.
...So I guess that could be a positive description, but trust me, in this case it wasn't :P Needless to say I don't consider any of the releases listed there 'canon' to the Swimfail discography. Unfortunately Metal Archives barely allows you to edit anything and does not allow deletion of band profiles. :( Oh well, learned something I suppose.
But anyhow, I'm really excited that you like the album so much! Feel free to send it to anyone you think would like it as well, spread the word and all that if you like. :)

I've got the tracks in my playlist, and oddly enough when its shuffled, your songs come up more often than anything else. :D
Its fun to code and draw to.
