Sonnheim got some more living inhabitants, giant snails! These are peaceful creatures that slowly roam the land. Maybe some day one can tame them and make them pull carts.

The screenshot features a giant snail that I found in the grassy area southeast of Sonnheim village.

The snail looks great. Does it leave a trail of goo behind?

Not yet. But they really should :)
I'm glad to like them.

Only some minor things. I'm sickly again, autumn isn't a good time for me.
I've added a few images, multi-purpose bag/sack images, that can be used to keep sand from the sand hills. Also the smaller sort of bag will be used to keep plant seeds. I figured if someone can build gravel and sand ways, there should be a way to seed grass again. Thus from some of the big grass patches in the grassy plains one can now harvest grass seeds which can be used to seed grass in other places. Well, so far I have the bags and the code to harvest grass seeds, but not yet the code for seeding grass, but that is just a matter of a few minutes to add.
It's nice to see the environment becoming more interactive.

Thank you! I keep hoping.
Edit: I'm on the mend. But now I have too many ideas in my head, wanting to make a cooperative networking platformer game in the Bubble Bobble style and/or a cooperative shoot them up ... if someone remembers "Blood Money" for the Atari ST/Amiga, he'll know what I have on my mind. I really would like a smaller project that I can finish in a reasonable timeframe, and that people will enjoy. Bubble Bobble has too many remakes already though ...

Oh wow, a synergy effect!
Actually I was trying to make the Sonnheim map editor usable to edit maps for the side-scrolling shooter that I mentioned in the last edit. As a side effect, Sonnheim can now display 2d maps, in the style most JRPGs use them.
If I want I can now borrow and use graphics from all the open source JRPG remakes. More power at my hands, muahahahaha! Oops ... ok :P
Anyways, the project core got a bit more versatile, which is nice.
