Team CCPS is looking for someone to create static and animated environment tiles for their upcoming game project.

The project you will be working on is not intended to be a commercial endeavor, and we are unable to pay for your work.
You will gain a line in the credits, as that is all that I can promise.

You will be expected to provide tile sets for the following environments:

swamp (think louisiana's swamps. there is a town here as well, I'm thinking it would be cool to have the buildings be on pilings above the murky water)
desert (lots of sand dunes, cacti, etc)
forest (we are looking for a secret of mana-ish look here, but with a dark theme)
plains (pretty much filler tiles with a few detail tiles to spice the place up)
dark, foreboding catacombs (spiderwebs, pools of dark water, stairs, etc)
castle
log-cabin
twisting rocky caverns
hell-ish otherworldly place (its supposed to be hell; be creative)

Tiles are 32 x 32 pixels in size.
The transparent color is RGB 255, 0, 255.

Tiles will need to be delivered as a tilesheet 256xN (as many tiles high as needed) 32-bit .PNG format.
Place animated tile frames one after the other on a row of their own.

If you are interested, please send an email to ccpsceo@gmail.com
or simply reply here.

Cross-platform reiteration of WiTCHHUNT. Redesigned from the ground up, with full graphics this time around.

:) I will certainly keep everyone posted.

I'll be releasing the source, so a Mac version will just require you, or someone with access to a Mac to download the source, compile it, and then viola!

no never found an artist. and I've got all those tiles already.
I don't want to use existing freebie graphics that other game projects are already using anyway.

I prefer a unique set of graphics.

I would volunteer for this if I had nothing else going on... unfortunately that rarely seems to be the case. Pretty caught up in other projects right now, sorry dude :(

I just found this guy offering pretty reasonable prices for custom 2D graphics:

http://www.garagegames.com/community/blogs/view/17651

$5 for concept art, $2.50 per frame of animation for sprites.
