Okay, so I'm totally burnt out of programming having been working my ass off on the 48 hour jam game engine from 7am til midnight just about non-stop for several weeks... :P
I got the urge to play with Wings 3D again, and here are some screenies to gawk at. ;D
big f***ing images btw

These make we want to make a 3D MMORPG. Very nice landscapes. I'd choose a bit different textures, but these are already very nice.
Still a pity that 3D games take that much effort to make, and that seldom they are rewarding as much as they look good. Anyways, these screens look good and promising! Good luck with your experiements :)

Not too bad...looks like something Irrlicht can do in realtime with its terrain generator though. How big are your textures? _________________ If you play a Microsoft CD backwards you can hear demonic voices. The scary part is that if you play it forwards it installs Windows. - wallace

nice, reminds me alot of bryce except more... gamey. Like it looks like the terrain belongs in a game. Bryce renders never looked like they belonged in games. _________________ pixoasis /The Search For... /K9

I made the textures myself in about 5 minutes; this was mainly just an experiment to see if I could make a landscape in Wings 3D.
If I were going to make something to be used, I'd spend more time of the textures.

The textures (there are 2) are 1024x1024; and I know that there are engines that can do this kind of measly graphics without trying.
Irrlicht is pretty cool too. I toyed with it in the past.

Haha....god I hate Bryce's interface...the output from it is amazing, but the developer sure as hell didn't have any brains when designing the UI.
Thanks for the feedback guys! :) _________________ Principal Software Architect
