erm...a little bit, though the contrast might be a bit too low (the game will be run at very low resolution, so it won't be as big a problem full screen)...i can fix it easily enough though, and am fully prepared to if the problem persists when the engine starts...a simple tug on some saturation sliders should do it...

you may want to up the saturation just a bit..
its harder to see than the original gameboy in sunlight XD

maybe that is what you are aiming for? ..but in any event, I think that its far too subdued to see what is going on.

I've got REALLY good contrast on my laptop (as compared to most other monitors in existence)..and I cannot distinguish anything (well I can..but not enough to tell when the hell it is) in the green tiles without opening it in gimp and recoloring it.

the only thing I have a problem seeing is the orange paths on the grass, but living with two partially colourblind housemates I'd reccomend more contrast anyway, especially as plenty of people dont have their screens set up right :)

looks cool though :D

aaah. have some coding done. need to do more though. aaaah.

just got lua to load stuff from files (had trouble getting it linking for a weird reason). i tend to use lua for datafiles that I'll be hand-writing.

my hope is that I get the engine stuff done tonight so I can do content tomorrow.

The paleness reminds me of "Felix The Cat" for the NES.

But I like the sprite style.
