I've been uploading new music as I finish it to an online player--I thought I'd share:

(I just finished Track 7, the boss music, last night.)

Cool stuff man, good work :) What samples/VSTs do you use for the orchestrals?

Thanks dude. :) I use Kontakt 3 as my sampler. It comes with about 33 GB of instruments, including a good chunk of Vienna Symphonic Library. So far I've just been relying on the sounds bundled with Kontakt 3. One of these days, though, I expect I'll start branching out into EastWest territory.

Seeing as I now have 14 tracks in the player, I figured I'd post here again to let everyone know about all the new music.

The latest track, God's Justice, is probably the least melodic track I've made in a long time, but I think it does its job as game music: namely, creating a tense atmosphere during a dangerous rescue attempt.

Nice, it does its job well. Very tense; I like the way it builds from the minimal drums at the start.

I found a real-life opera singer to sing on Track 10, "On Trial"! The song, which now sounds about 5 times more awesome, is updated in the player. :)

Wow, no kidding-- that's awesome! Sounds great, definitely some Chrono Trigger vibes in some of the instrumentation as well.

I composed a nice little tune using a music box instrument earlier today. "Riddle Door" plays in certain dungeon rooms where you have to provide the answer to a riddle to progress. It's in the player as track 20.

Huh. It's been a year since I last updated this thread. It's crazy how the time flies! I won't go through every single new track I've made since then, but suffice it to say that there are now 26 of them in the player: http://www.sinisterdesign.net/TSoGMusicPlayer.html

Also, I've composed some pretty intense final boss music (not in the player): http://sinisterdesign.net/?p=823
