I'm calling a night, I'm waaay to tired to add anything good in the few hours I have left, if any proof of that is needed, heres an excerpt from the irc:
Quote: | [01:22] <Sophie_H> I just spent about 4 minutes trying to get the perfect screengrab for the forum
[01:22] <Sophie_H> turns out the F12 button isnt the same as print screen |
I will fix it up with by finishing the story, adding more moves and general stuff, but for the purposes of the 48hour deadline, this is as far as it goes. its been fun though :) _________________ My Site - My dA - Edward

I was playing your game as you made it and I must say it has one of the most additive gameplays out of all the games. _________________ Check out my game development on My Programming Blog!

Hah, excellent dialog, and excellent game play. Unfortunately I didn't find the end mention. Enjoyed it.
Playing your game makes me wish I had more time with my unity demo, the games it runs seem pretty crisp and I have spent little to no time with it. _________________ As seen on TV

This turned out well--the graphics and animation are great, and the setting is very creative. I admit, I chuckled out loud at Pinball's dialog.
My biggest complaint has to be the unreliability of the main character's attack sequence. He takes a very long time to wind up, and the attack doesn't seem to have any effect if it hits early or late in the animation (I was pretty sure that the overhead smash part of the attack would do extra damage, but no dice--it does nothing at all).
Anyway, I hope you keep working on this!

I couldn't find the Unity Web Player from the main Unity page. However, googling for "Unity Web Player" took me straight to it.
Attacking is frustrating. It's nearly impossible to get the timing right to hit an opponent on the down stroke. Hitting on the up stroke is easier, but feels unintuitive.
I like the shower of bits when an opponent is defeated.
