Thanks! :)
DevX: Hehe, probably because there's so damn many of them with all those short interludes as separate tracks.

Hollow Pages is particularly good for coding to. In fact, I completed my latest coding project listening to this whole album.
Heheh...after listening to this so many times, I've become inspired to restart my own musical project. _________________ If you play a Microsoft CD backwards you can hear demonic voices. The scary part is that if you play it forwards it installs Windows. - wallace

Whoa, dude--I just started listening to this. "Kid" is an awesome track! I'll have more thoughts on more tracks tomorrow. :)

Really enjoying this album so far. "Fauxpas" and "Protector" are pretty sweet. (I also really like "What Gives" in spite of the nu metal vocals.) "Kid" is still my favorite track (I assume there's a reason you stuck up front like that.)

Thanks so much guys, I'm really glad you're enjoying this. :) There's actually a new Swimfail album pretty close to completion, it's called Vermin and it should be out sometime in September or October. Weird to think Extreme Disappointment came out a year ago...
Anyway, can't wait to get the new album out there, I think you guys will really enjoy it. Some of my best stuff so far I think, quite heavy and driving for the most part. :)

EDIT: Funny thing about you mentioning Kid is your favorite track, Malignus... It was actually written towards the end of crunch time in a desperate attempt to write a standard "rocking" opener. I think it took maybe 5 hours to write and record. :p About 75% of this new album was written in the past two weeks in the same manner, and I think it's killer... guess I just write better stuff when I throw the idea down real quick and leave it.

I totally cannot wait! :D
And if I happen to have any left-over $ after paying my bills, I'll even buy it this time. _________________ Principal Software Architect

Update: Vermin is very nearly finished! There's a new track from the album on the Swimfail myspace page, called Adorable:
