This is gonna sound a bit weird, but this is the deal...

My wife and I are in a bit of a bind right now. We're on the verge of losing our house, and we have nowhere to go if we do. We can't afford to move, but at the moment, we can't afford our house. Us, our two kids, my wife's sister, and her mother would all end up homeless. However, we are working rapidly on a solution, which is to open up a small tech shop. We already have a couple of ultra-inexpensive foreign providers for products we know will sell to the public here in PR as they're in high demand right now. Unfortunately, even though this will be very successful, it costs money to invest in this kind of thing. It's the typical catch-22. We've already exhausted every avenue here and there's nothing else we can do. So, that's why I'm posting this here.

This is a huge issue and I hate to even have to bring it up, but what we need to do is acquire up to $30k US. The easiest way to do this is for someone to take out a loan in their name. We cannot do this here, and no one here that we know can do it either...we've already asked around, so this is truly our last resort. This amount of money will settle all of our previous debts, save our home, fund our new business, and give us a bit of buffer space in case things don't take off right away.

Now here's where the $3000 comes in. We are going to give 10% of this loan to anyone who helps us. We're going to pay off the entire loan as per the lender's requirements, but 10% of the money from the loan is yours, no questions asked. If $30k isn't possible, then whatever amount is possible will still be at 10%.

Yeah things went from worse to "worser", there was no "bad to worse" as things were "bad" late last year already. But even if we could only get about $5k or so, it would at least get us out of the hole and back on track.
