So in case you were wondering since FPSCreator's creators are celebrating their 10th Anniversary they're giving away some model pack for free.

Like this one, Urban Model Pack

I got it, boy what a pain in the ass to get. :P
If anyone wants it and doesn't want to go through TGC's bullshit system, just ask.

Not saying that - just saying I'm very naive and it totally had me fooled. Looked like a post I might make.

Yeah, me too. But I guess that's kind of obvious :P

Oh - speaking of which.... Mattias, you may be most interested in this (besides me)....

I just had lunch with a couple of DAZ 3D folks. They are working on a joint venture with Mogware to create a tool & licensing program called "DAZ Links" - to turn their gigantic 5-6 digit poly count models into game-ready real-time resources (in Collada format --- which admittedly doesn't say much if you are talking compatibility). If you feel the desire to go "true 3D" instead of pre-rendered, that could make your job a lot easier. They are planning on keeping the licenses price down to appropriate indie levels.

Watch for an announcement at GDC - I just got into their new beta, but I haven't tested it out yet. We'll see how well it works for Blender.
