It's only mostly dead. Which is still partly alive!

So who runs RPGDX these days? And can they delete my webspace on here? I totally forgot I had some stuff up on RPGDX and I don't want to be associated with it anymore. (my crappy art that is, not RPGDX, RPGDX is fine). I can't remember login and password and whatnot to do it myself. :P

I think you have to get in touch with Bjorn for that or maybe Terry.

Well, nothing has changed since back when I set up that hosting space for you! So yeah, just let me know and I will take down your subdomain.

Something is about to change, though, as Aral informed me that he can no longer host RPGDX. I've decided to spent some time moving RPGDX over to a host of my own rather than taking it all down, even though I have to admit the site is "resting" since a long time now and actually I don't have time to develop it into anything else.

So, see you soon at a new host! :-)

Hah, I finally found the login info today, and went to try to log in and delete everything, and it didn't work! You beat me to it. :) Anyway, yes I wanted it deleted, so thanks!

What should we do to make people interested in this place again?
I miss the good old days when there was a little more action around here.
I reckon there are still indies making rpg games so where are they posting about their projects?

Facebook, Youtube, Tumblr/Blogs would be my guess. At least those seem to be some of the things that have decimated forums that are slanted more towards the art/graphics side of things. Then there's Kickstarter. And Unreal and Unity and forums geared towards working with them.

Lots of people at Charas, still. IMO this place died with QB. Oh, and Ludum Dare.

The indies post about their projects on Kotaku, methinks.

But really, the people who Mandrake originally brought together are no longer making independent games, are they? I haven't seen new games from most of you in years. These days, with QB64 and HTML 5, should be easy to make sequels to the old games if you wanted. Just rip out DS4QB and there you go.

Hey, I remember DS4QB... oh yeah, that's right... because I invented it. :D

(sorry, had to do it)
