Hey everyone, I just wanted to ask if anyone knew of active game development communities similar to this one. I know of TIGSource, but that place is just too busy and big for me, and very few people seem to be making RPGs over there. Are there any other communities to check out?

My own at Rampant Games are small and a little RPG-centric. The people there tend to be of the more commercial mindset.
I'd also recommend Indiegamer.com The signal-to-noise ratio has definitely degraded there over time, but there are still a few veterans and professionals there who will give advice to the new developers. It's definitely got a much more commercial mindset there, too.
And of course, there's the community at gamedev.net It's... well, probably a bit more crowded than tigsource, too. And a low signal-to-noise. But there's still some useful knowledge to be gained there - especially w/ respect to coding. _________________ Tales of the Rampant Coyote - Old-School Game Developer talks Indie Games, RPGs, and the Games Biz
