In case the logins screw up again, this is XMark speaking.
Does anyone know a good place to find fonts for use with Allegro? They've been surprisingly difficult to google.

I know nothing about Allegro fonts, but if you use Freetype, you can display TrueType fonts (which ought to be a lot easier to find).

Yeah, either use a library to display truetype fonts, for example AlFont [1] (a wrapper around FreeType2) or you can create your own font from a truetype font with TTF2PCX* [2].
But you might already know about this possibility and just be interested in some cool or funny premade fonts that you can use directly with Allegro. In that case, I cannot really point you anywhere.
*) When using TTF2PCX in WinXP/2000, run the program in Win98 compatibility mode for it to work correctly.

(XMark here)
heh, well I was kinda hoping there was an easy Allegro load_font command or something. I guess I'll put fonts in the "do it later" pile. :)

Dunno... I've always been in the habit of using my own fonts, along with a custom font handler/blitter I wrote somewhere in the neighborhood of five years ago :)
