- I thought I'd move over to 'lowestcosthost.com', but the servers are giving me a headache and I really don't think I'm going to stay there at all.

- If we're talking about at least 2+ GB for $25/mo. or less, then I'm all ears. This seems like a stable host.

The most economical webhost I've seen is http://www.powweb.com/. 30GB bandwidth, PHP and MySQL for $7.77/month. Unfortunately they shut down accounts that exceed 30 GB bandwidth, so they're useless to me.

If you are low on bandwidth, storage space and processor time, you can try BSDWebhosting ( http://www.bsdwebhosting.net/ ). Prices:

1 GB of traffic: $2.00
100 MB of disk space: $0.05/day (about $1.50/month)
1 minute of CPU time: $0.15
Everything else FREE

So if you would use 1 GB and 20 MB per month and don't run any scripts (requesting non-scripts doesn't count for CPU time), you'd pay: $2.30 a month. The coolest part is of course that you will hardly pay for months in which few people visit your site.

Paying goes through Paypal, which has the advantage to be easy to use from almost allover the world and it avoids you suddenly loosing lots of money when millions of people start to download your game.

It doesn't support MySQL by default, but you can just install that for yourself because you actually just have a FreeBSD account there.

- Well, what I'm looking for is a hosting plan that gives you 2+GB of Disk space to work with, PHP, mySQL, and some good run-time. No, I don't have 2GB of stuff to post, but I really want to play with a lot of databases (primarily my message board, and stuff) and I plan on having a lot of image galleries and game downloads.

- Lowestcosthost.com is making me agitated with their Server uptime problems sporatically (or maybe it's the computers I'm picking to check it with), but I want somethiing up! Up! Up! like almost all the time. The host of indie-rpg.net seems to have an excellent run-time, just like the host for my previous server (CI-Host) did, but $30 / mo. is a lot for one person to take care of (since my friend is having financial problems and can no longer contribute 50% of the costs).

- I'm still looking. I don't expect to be with LCH for long.
