...it'll be very bad... trust me. It'll be used for a little bit, then pretty much nothing (remember Distortion? ...the screenshot of the day, at GDR?)... yeah, exactly. It just wouldn't make any sense... we don't get enough screenshot posts as it is, which is odd, as I would expect the forum to get a whole lot more 'in progress' screens, and RPG flavoured pixels, and whatnot... but it doesn't... and I doubt that's because we don't have a forum dedicated to it.

The only kind of forum I could possibly see working is just a 'general discussion' one, to keep all the ot stuff out of this forum. I dunno... those are just my thoughts.

yeah...but i was hopinh maybe a forum would get more people to post screenies, maybe...i dunno.

Screenies are rare, so why not post them here? Also, we already have pixelation.

for reasons i won't go to in here- - - I hate pixelation. I hate what it's turned into. But I guess it's a bad idea, so, meh, no pixel forum. Although, i do wish people would post more screenshots.

- I don't think we need separate forums. Not enough posts / day for that. If you want more screens / images, I'll be happy to post more! At least here, I am allowed to post non-pixel images.

hmmm... speaking of screenshots, i want to take some screenshots of some of my new stuff, but the printscreen button won't work. anything special i have to do?

You can implement a button to save the screen into a bmp....

Yes! Yes! more screenshots! heh, even ugly screenshots are great. Fro some reason, looking at screenies really inspires me to work on the game :)

- It's ALT + PRINTSCREEN, and then you go to a Paint program and paste it into a new image.

A screenshot forum would make sense if we ever get to the point where screenshot threads overpower programming threads, but I don't think we're in danger of that anytime soon.

That said, I, too, would love to see more screenshots of games posted. They really do inspire you to get to work. Heh.
