Hi, everyone.

This is my first post, though I've been coming here for awhile. I thought I'd try to compete in the minirpg compo. I've been programming for years now, but I have never had the motivation to complete anything and I figure this will give me that motivation. I wish everyone in the compo lots of luck and I ask that you don't beat me too bad. :)

Heh, I'm Looking Forward to this competion As well, and wish all the contestents luck =P

As far as winning goes, it's going to be hard with so many talented individuals in this community possibly entering + the fact that the majority are coding there own engines and pixeling there own art, I've just decided to focus on Design and it's challeges for this competetion so I've just chosen Rm2k to make my Rpg.

Hey, I know what you mean. I don't think i've ever completed a game in my life, exept for once when I made a text adventure when I was younger. Which is distressing. So thats my personal challenge for this competition - to actually complete something.

That's what I like most about competitions, the urge to finish something. Without this challenge, we (Moonlight Productions) would have never produced a game and now we've released two of them. However, both were rather lacking in the combat department and the player didn't gain any experience. Better luck upcoming weekend. :-)
