I had to do a poem about math for Algebra II, so I decided "Hmm.... why not have an impossibly hard 3D demo in the background?"

After a few weeks of learn OpenGL in a mad rush, I managed to create something almost worthy of the name "executable." If you wish to see it, I zipped it into 1.58mb, and RARed it into 1.48mb.

If you've seen toonami and hate music rippers, cover your ears, heh.

Well, it's an interesting demo to say the least. It ought to have been a great learning experience. I had to enable vsync though, otherwise everything would go way too fast to read, so you might want to look into other timing possibilities. :-)

Ya, I played it at school today and all the timing was wrong. Then I thought... FPS LIMITING! OF CORUSE!!!! Then... I just sat down and did my homework.

Hehe... I had to write a math poem for Algebra II also... I think all these math teachers must have a secret conference in some dark hideaway where they all drink excessive amounts of coffee and brainstorm horrid punishments for the mere mortals that must take their classes. Only good thing was that the other 3 projects in the year had an option where one could write a QB program, albeit one that did some boring thing like converting Celsius to Kelvin or Fahrenheit, blah, blah, blah... but it was better than poetry, and it gave me a good excuse to use the fast school inet connection... ;)

Not to put words in his mouth, but I believe he's saying that he was psyched to have QB to write, ALTHOUGH (it was a shame) that they were just to do stupid things, so they werent really fun to write. ...perhaps?

"albeit" really I can't find this word in a dictionary as meaning anything else that some sort of rock.

but here comes the really really weird part, I know exactly what he
mean and the rock defention actually popped up when I was searching
for the spelling of the damn word.

It really confuses me how a word can feel so "right" I must have
gotten it from somewhere right? and well DrV uses it, is it a english
word that only non native english speakers know?

Yes, I meant that I like writing QB programs, or any programs for that matter (in school), although I did not like the fact that they were to be boring programs that didn't do anything useful.

I like exercising my extensive vocabulary whenever possible. ;) I shall egress now.
