Yeah, beach adventure! Stop the evil mage from bringing back jaws... or something.
Well anyway, none of that stuff bugs me. Everything about a game is fake, fantasy, imitation. It's made to appeal to the senses. Whether it does that on a shallow or deep level, in a new way or the same old cliche, as long as it's appealing I like it. Besides, fashion sense varies immensly based on the views of the people. Just look at all those topless ladies in Hawaii, or the 95% naked african guys in national geographic. It's silly to say "Don't market women's sexuality", though "don't only market women's sexuality" is a little more reasonable even if I still disagree with it.
The one thing that does bother me about games are how everyone in the world manages to agree on right/wrong. The heros of a game very rarely have to deal with being considered the villians by the world, and when they do, it's usually some lame "I was framed," or "we are camping in an isolationist exotic distrustful land." _________________ *Only in darkness can one truely shine*

The existence of games with women in bikinis doesn't bother me.
The existence of games with naked women doesn't bother me.
The existence of executive producers who look at a game and immediately say "You know what would make this game better? If that chick was showing more skin." do bother me. :)
I'm all for sexy games and sexy characters, male and female. I only mind it being stuck in when it seems out of place and silly.... or when your characters are four guys in huge bulky armor that kick ass and one wussy little girl in a bikini who can only cast healing spells.
