What do you propose, we model it on the real world? When did you lose your innocence?

On second thoughts, if we model it on the real world our hero will be binge drinking every second night by the time hes 16, a heroin addict by 20, and in jail or dead by the time hes 30.

lol, actually I was surprised to when I found out that the limit for "binge drinking" was as low as 6 beers/ciders I actually thought it ment
to get overly intoxicated and do stupid stuff...

If you can't handle that amount of beer without acting like a complete
moron then something must be wrong

In that case I won't mention the fact we cracked open a couple of bottles of wine at work last Friday, and it went straight to my head. 3/4 a glass of wine and I was tipsy. My alcohol tolerance seems to have gone downhill since I haven't drunk in years.

A few too many camping trips down on the coast waking up at "Half-past beer in the morning".

Ahem.
Maybe start a new topic for this subject- This one's SUPPOSED to be about spell animations.

Spell animations, binge drinking... It's a very fine line between the two :) I'm sure if you were drunk enough you'd think we were talking about spell animation. :/

To unite these disparate topics, we could invent a new spell called "drunken rage" in which the hero sits down with his buddies for a few beers/whiskeys/wine coolers/etc and then gets drunk off his arse and starts throwing broken bottles at the enemy. ;)

Broken bottles- now, now- isn't that a little violent. How about some slurred drunken abuse :) Or some kind of sonic attack- I don't know a burp or something. Given a few bottles of methlyated spirits I'm sure our heros breath could kill.

If theres any such thing as a cheap motion capture system and you were doing a 3D RPG you could just suit up in some mocap gear, invite some friends around and get blind drunk and try to beat each other up. I'm sure you'd get some useful motion capture data as well as having some fun :)
