I'm turning Moira into an action/arcade platformer game (think Rastan, Rygar, etc)
here are some more screenshot goodness:
and the first level boss, king slime:
left to do:
into animation
hiscore table
the AI for 4 enemies
levels 2-6

Looks great Mandrake...but some thing about the graphics...
You see the ledges (those lil hills in the water; I don't know if this is the right word) I marked red...I would make the side of them looking more rocky
But everything else is awesome _________________ Keep on codin'

I think the foreground should be a little brighter, but overall it's awesome.

That looks so awesome! I especially like the bos slime figure, and the fact that he is so big. But indeed, add "improve rocky ledges" to your todo list. :-)

Hey, I'm Dutch, I have no idea if ledges is actually the right word. By using the word you introduced, I was only tring to make it clear that I was talking about the same thing. :-)

How about 'presipeses'? or something like that.
But indeed they could use some editing. I suppose the reason for the fact that the grass only isn't perfectly cut on the left cliff is that you're working with tiles (or are lazy)?
And I think the thing ak00ma called water are in fact meant to look like clouds, wich they look like to me. Forgive me if I'm wrong.

They obviously are. She is in heaven. That also explains the perfectly-cut grass and earth: The divine angels work tirelessly to keep it perfect, or they shall face the wrath of God and be turned into a potato. _________________ I think, therefore I am... I think.

heh, sorry guys, but the graphics are as-is. It's basically a break from the Changeling, something to ease my mind a bit, so it's not a major project and perfection is secondary. anyway, the girl is Moira, a barabrian fighter chic of some sort (based on a character my wife plays and AD&D, and also where she has taken her handle for here), and so she bashes things on the head with her quarter staff. tis fun.
