Dont talk about subs and amps... *CRIES* My ex-flatmate took to the subs in my car with something and destroyed the box and left it and my 2x12" 700w subs out in the rain for a weekend. Haven't had a car stereo in my car for like six months now. I miss not having people hear my car six blocks away :(

It was great, it turned my car into one big gigantic vibrating massage machine. Its an interesting sensation driving down the street while your entire body is vibrating, I remember one of the techno remixes of Sash - Stay I had where it would reach this climax, and you could actually feel the air displaced from the subs (which were in the trunk) and you hair would get blown. Of course my car wasn't too happy about this most of the time, my altenator didn't like it much, and whoa boy, crank it up and night time and my headlights may as well have been off, never did get around to buying a big enough capacitor. And I miss all the pretty animations of paragliders and dolphins and stuff, and I miss the motorised fold out display, and *SIGH* It's all sitting in my bedroom cupboard waiting for me to plug it back in, but I can see I'm never going to get around to it. I was tempted to plug it into mains power, but I did a few calculations on the amplifiers, and the current required worked out to 110 amps, and the mains power is only rated to 10 amps. *SIGH* Anyone wanna buy me some new subs?
