Agreed, the "3D" dungeons in Ultima were horrible to say the least. I don't think the game would have lost anything at all if its dungeons were in 2D. Actually if I remember correctly, the dungeons in Ultima 6 were in 2D. I hated having to sit and draw maps of the dungeons each step I took. And then you'd stand on a trapdoor and fall down a dozen floors and the map would be useless anyways.

Wheee, I've setup the contest page and posted the news about the contest, effectively officially announcing this contest.

I've tried to write down the newpost, the description and the rules very carefully. Still, I would very much like to know any errors you encounter while reading them or anything that is unclear or that you disagree with. Thanks.

Thanks to Adam I was quickly noted about a bug in the subscription system, effectively disallowing people that had joined the previous competition to subscribe. Well, go try again, because it should be working now.

It doesn't look like many people are going to take part in this compo. :( And if anyone remembers Shadows, you know not to expect much from me. ;)

So what is the deal, everyone? Sign up!

I think the people are finding the comp rules a little restrictive. Seeing as there's only 4 entrys.

Hmm, I don't understand how it could be too restrictive... there's only three requirements, what would make people decide not to join?

I would like to stress that there is no requirement that you have to do it on your own. In would even be nice of more entries where team development efforts.
