I'd like especially the participants opinion about this, I don't really care about the other people around here now. :-P

Extend it if you like, but I probably won't be taking advantage of the extra time. When this thing's done, I want to shove it in a little hole, and never see it again.

But I do rather like the idea of making it a tradition; always pretending that the compo's one day shorter than it really is, and then acting all surprised and grateful when it's extended. Yes, I like that.

So anyway, I abstain, do as you like.

Ok, I'd like to get this decided as soon as possible so with the current votes:

Please, no.

It's Yeah! And, we'll probably make it a tradition. But I won't officially acknowledge that, I mean, otherwise it would be just the same as calling it a 72 hours competition. :-)

Okay, thought it was only proper of me to come over here and eat my well-earned serving of humble pie.

DrV (praise be to him) has helped me uncover a serious bug, which I'll do my best to weed out over the next day. Wish me luck, and thanks a lot for the extension!

I'm actually the only one whom voted against it, as.. well.. I knew it wouldn't make a difference. And I'm not even playing. ;) ;) ;)

Yep, I'm an ass. :) :)

If we are making a tradition of it, though, we definitely need to make sure that anyone coming to the competition for the first time knows about it. If someone who's done it before forgets, that's his problem, and we'll all laugh at him and all the cramming he didn't have to do; but if it's a question of someone not knowing because he wasn't "in" enough, that's just too lame for words.

But if someone just sends any first-timer joiners an e-mail explanation, that'll take care of that.
