Only two of them ran on my machine! I'm fucking pissed off! Why are all windows proggies so unstable????? I've been waiting for ages to play some new RPGs and I only get TWO????? Well, maybe I should stop expecting the world to please me and enter some games into the compo then! I've got a headache from trying to vote when it won't accepts only two enteries, I ended up voting for notmuch, which was TOOO slow and spasmatic, but sounded cool and looked authentic.
maybe I should get another new computer, the most powerful one I have is 6 years old now...

You mean Notmucher actually worked, albeit poorly? Yay! Were you running it at top speed? The number keys regulate speed, and '0' is the fastest. It will still be choppy, but it should be fast enough. At least, it works on my 350Mhz, 32 RAM monster (I'm in the same boat as you regarding having an old computer).

after I read them once, and I thought itwas the F1 etc keys to controll speed, but every time I hit them it crashed. It looks like it would have been really cool though, it was a fucking original Idea, and the art did look authentic, did you lift it all from the books?

F1 should change the screen res to 640x480; it shouldn't crash, though (oh, well). F8 might crash it; it tries to set the screen res to MAX_INTxMAX_INT, just for the hell of it. The number keys control the frame rate: '1' is slowest but nicest looking, and '0' is fastest but choppiest. '4' is the default, so '0' will increase the speed by 2.5
I didn't scan it directly or use tracing paper or anything, but yeah, much of it is more or less from the books, though I did do some of it myself when nothing from the books quite suited my needs for a particular image.
By the way (this is addressed to everyone), I'm anxiously waiting for reviews. The fixed version's at http://jihgfed.rpgdx.net/notmucher/notmucher.zip. Or is it still buggy? (Fingers are crossed.)
