I don't understand life. Call me insane, I am 15 and I don't, and I question it. One moment you are intensely happy and lucky and you don't even think about it, and the other moment you just stand there alone and you can't even sleep for 72 hours, never mind eat or drink. Life just slaps you around with emotions you can't handle. Is there any point to it? I feel so diabolically pointless.

Why do I start these sort of things: well, I just came back from my girlfriend, who lives in france, and I miss her dearly and realised love HURTS. Again. oof.

Don't think about the future. I've gone through many depressions, but they ALWAYS pass... Always. Just don't worry, dude.

I'm 21 and I have yet to understand it either, but I can tell you that it gets more predictable as you go along. When I was 15 I had the same thoughts.

Also, the emotional roller-coaster associated with the teenage years will make sense when you reflect on it when you're older. From that experience like that we get the saying, "if only I knew back then what I know now". And then the next thing you know, you're shaking your fist, saying, "damn teenagers!" like the old man down the street. Especially when you see kids act irrationally like you once did.

Oh, and about "life slapping you around with emotions." When you're older, you'll be hardened from experiences. This helps you become free. Kind of like a Fight Club, nihilistic thing. It's like the dark side of maturity. It's a good thing, though.

I'm not sure I understand all that but its true and a bit sad that you do get hardened by experience. Thats why most people reflect on thier first love as being the greatest. After your heart is destroyed a few times then you will always have that little bit of reservation and holding back.

Erm. No. I don't think so. It's just that I had losta loves in my life and this one's the most furious of all. Crying. Pain. Argh. I need to be with her.

Well that's rather... Umm...I dunno...
*COUGH*
Sappy, dramatic, overdone, cliched...
Pick one.

Sappy, dramatic, overdone, cliched...

sure, but ít's true. There are just a few phrases to express it.

Why don't you think of some words, create them... sometimes imaginative words can express things better than existing ones.
(Not a serious idea)

Anyway, I feel sorry for you... but I'm sure the feeling will go away over time, most feelings do. Try not to think about it too much, and espacially don't be afraid of feeling too sorry about 'not thinking about it too much'.

BTW, it's not life that's slapping, it's the emotions... life is uncontrolable, emotions aren't. Considdering life as being the things happeing around you... Ok, I guess you can control life a bit... whatever...

So I guess you are trying to say.... what?

I wouldn't worry too much.

My ex only broke up with me because I had to move away. In fact, the guys she dates now.. she tells me that I am always better than them. She doesn't love any of them =P. hehe

So hey, give it time. Life has a way of throwing curveballs at you and then righting themselves.

What happens happens. Enjoy the ride

With 'whatever' I tried to say: "Don't mind me mumbling complete nonsence."

I've found that whenever depressed, having something to do which occupies your mind is a very good way to recover.
Coding is one of those things, playing games, watching n episodes of your favourite anime each day for a week or so (where n > 10), and building a 1:1 scale model of a battleship out of toothpicks are other examples.
