Yep, unlike the original ending episodes, End of Evangelion closes all loops, and expounds on subjects such as Seele, the angels, Adam & Lilith, and naturally the fate of (just about) every character involved in the series. Plus, it's graced with fantastic animation quality, and a mercilessly driving soundtrack.
Truly a fitting end to a surprisingly detailed series.
[edit] Damn, now I have the overwhelming urge to watch the entire series again. Oh well, now that I've finished watching FLCL I suppose something more serious is in order :)
