I was playing it - and enjoying it, when all of a sudden it died.
I'm not sure why, but it was probably something either with the keyboard handler, or the display. This computer does have a habit of spontaneous deactivation, though.
What does it mean when your cousin's computer shuts itself off after a critical error?
The program died at the first room to the left of the main hall, near the treasure chests. You might want to look into it.
Your best work yet, DarkDread. Keep up the good work, we're all learning from it.

dd: worked fine for me in dosemu (too slow and jerky to play, but I had like 1000 things running in the background at the time). I think QB games also work pretty well in DOSBOX.

Um, me Ben here, if I made my own songs for it, and stuck em in there, could they work or would you have to recode something for that? If you can just give me a song-name list and I'll make the songs for fun, myself, or for the game, I dunno. Can I do that? _________________ If you were a flavor, which would it be?

For songs to work in it (in all OSes) you'd have to recode the entire game to use UGL, then make songs in MOD format to play them. DS4QB++ may work, but on some occasions it doesn't. It's also considered unstable.

My memory may be a little off here. But as i recall mr. Dred did actually do music, just that he was too lazy to do the music code. _________________ https://numbatlogic.com

Well yeah, but I see it as practice for mood setting to when WE make a real game. DD has REAL games out and if XP would work with DS4QB++, (god dammit) I could practice applying my own music to a real game. Plus, if I could get the songs for this game that DD already has made, I can remake them and maybe get some kind of new style down, something like that. yeah, dd did make music with in the nocturne (and sound effects too) but when he tried to put in a music library along with (i think?) gslib, bugs came up, so dd abandoned music altogether.
